Requirements
Hold or be willing to work towards a relevant teaching qualification.
Have up to date knowledge and experience of the Construction industry.
Hold or be working towards a level 3 qualification in specialist area. (NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery at Level 3)
Be flexible and self motivated with a dedication to student achievement and quality.

Job description
We are now looking for a highly motivated person to join our brilliant Alternative Provision team.
Within this role you’ll be responsible for woodwork teaching and contribute to the on- going development of our exciting curriculum through City & Guilds.
The successful applicant will ideally have industry experience and a minimum of an NVQ level 3 or Advanced Craft Certificate qualification or similar/or willing to undertake this qualification at RAW.
You will have gained the necessary experience from working within industry or performing a similar role within an educational context. Experience of and an understanding of working with vulnerable young people is an advantage and full training will be given.
